TNT Coffee Morning Fun for Phoebe

Saturday 28th February. H2O's TNT group today held a fun-packed coffee morning at The Well to raise funds for little Phoebe MacAskill of Inverness. Phoebe was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, stage 4, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer in April, 2008. The recent good news was that the disease has gone into remission, however, TNT were still very keen to put money towards a holiday for Phoebe who has been through so much for a wee girl.

Over £160 was raised through the event with hopefully more to come. Pictured are group members along with volunteer Ann Matheson and Ewen Munro, H2O Youth Worker.

SSC and H2O go to Balamory!!!!!
  • Hey - Ladies and Gentlemen of the SSC Argyll Weekend to Tobermory - A great big thank you for a great weekend, especially new SSC'ers. It was great to spend time with you all.
  • Are we mad heading off to Mull in February? Yes, didn't we have fun?
  • Sports in the rain! Calgary Bay in the wind!
  • But what a great evening with guys and gals from Tobermory on Saturday evening, and a real big 'nice one' from the live band who joined us on Saturday at Aros Hall. We're hoping to encourage 'OXJAM' to support a gig by and for young people in the town in the near future, so watch this space for details.
  • So, roll on Easter camp at Aberfoyle, and let's hope for loads of folk going from Oban and the Argyll area.
  • Well done SSC.
