H2O Awards 2010

Pictured with Ewen Munro (youth worker on left) and Roy Clunie (H2O Chair) are three of the seven recipients of the annual H2O Awards, presented to Oban High School pupils for contributions to their school or neighbourhood communities.
Katie Melville (beside Ewen) has represented her fellow students in pupil councils for the past five years. Katie was also a member of the S5 Pathways team who planned, fund-raised and ran the Christmas Party for the elderly members of Club H2O, the weekly intergenerational project of Hope 2 Oban.
Also pictured are Louise Kynoch and Caroline Smith who, along with Samantha MacIver, Linzi MacVicar and Daena Campbell have been working on arrangements for a new footbal pitch at their home neighbourhood. They have also been helping to coordinate an international youth exchange with Polish young folk and assist with the planning of a forthcoming summer programme.
